Canine Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Interleukin 1 Receptor Antagonist (IL-1RA) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate platform with colourmetric detection, employing a biotinylated anti-IL-1RA antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, and the concentration of IL-1RA in each sample is calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 14.35 pg/ml and an assay range of 46.8–3000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiked recovery has been demonstrated in serum (range 83–100%, average 91%; n=5), EDTA plasma (range 90–103%, average 96%; n=5), and heparin plasma (range 89–102%, average 95%; n=5).
