Canine Interleukin 1 Alpha ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Interleukin 1 Alpha (IL-1 alpha) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-1 alpha, and the captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-IL-1 alpha antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the resulting colour change is read as absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <6.6 pg/ml with a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the reagents should not be used past the expiration date.
