Canine Interferon Gamma ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com, designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Interferon gamma in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate and a biotinylated detection antibody, with HRP-catalysed TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Quantitative product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml and sensitivity is 5.9 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery in neat samples gave averages of 91% in serum (n=5, range 80%-102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%) and 84% in heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%). Linearity on dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16: serum (n=5) 87-91%, 87-107%, 74-101%, 92-97%; EDTA plasma 90-105%, 84-101%, 90-101%, 79-108%; heparin plasma 84-95%, 92-105%, 82-105%, 89-91%.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, sample dilution buffer, wash buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Storage is at +4°C or -20°C as instructed in the protocol manual, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
