Canine Interferon Alpha ELISA Kit

The assay runs on a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips), with absorbance read at 450 nm using a colorimetric microplate reader.

Standards and samples are added to the wells where Interferon Alpha binds the immobilized capture antibody. A biotinylated anti-Interferon Alpha detection antibody is then introduced, followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate generates a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the yellow intensity is proportional to the amount of analyte captured. The reported product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <5.3 pg/ml, and the assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and not used past the expiration date.
