Canine Haptoglobin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Haptoglobin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, using a Biotinylated Anti-Haptoglobin Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate for detection. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes.

The kit has a stated sensitivity of <24.5 ng/ml and an assay range of 62.5-4000 ng/ml. Reported spiked recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80-102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81-99%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions was 87-91% to 92-97% for serum, 90-105% to 79-108% for EDTA plasma, and 84-95% to 89-91% for heparin plasma (all n=5).
