Canine Erythropoietin ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine erythropoietin (EPO) in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. An antibody specific for EPO is pre-coated onto a 96-well microtiter plate, and captured analyte is detected with a Biotinylated Anti-EPO Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow after addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. The pre-coated plate is configured as 12 x 8 well strips and the total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. The stated assay range is 31.2-2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <12.8 pg/ml.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution, and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed. Reported recovery averages are 91% for serum (n=5, range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81-99%), and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5, range 80-89%). Dilution linearity is reported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
