Canine Creatine Kinase, Muscle ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Creatine Kinase MM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Creatine Kinase MM. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by incubation with a Biotinylated Anti-Creatine Kinase MM Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colourmetric, using TMB substrate to produce a measurable yellow product, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of <3.1 U/L and a measurement range of 6.25–400 U/L, with a total run time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values were: serum (n=5) 80–102% (average 91%); EDTA plasma (n=5) 81–99% (average 90%); heparin plasma (n=5) 80–89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity was tested at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 dilutions across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, two detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
