Canine Cholecystokinin ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Cholecystokinin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The Canine Cholecystokinin ELISA Kit is built on a pre-coated microplate platform configured as 12 x 8 well strips, with colourmetric detection read at 450 nm. Sample cholecystokinin competes with immobilised antigen for binding to a Biotinylated Anti-Cholecystokinin Antibody; HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate then produce a yellow signal whose absorbance is inversely proportional to analyte concentration.

Sensitivity is reported as <4.64 pg/ml, with a working range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of approximately 2 h 30 m. Recovery has been validated: serum (n=5) returned an average of 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5) averaged 90% (81%–99%), and heparin plasma (n=5) averaged 84% (80%–89%).
