Canine Cholecystokinin A Receptor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Cholecystokinin A Receptor (CCK1-R) in tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate to which an antibody specific for CCK1-R has been immobilised. Standards and test samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-CCK1-R Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate produces a blue colour that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution; the density of yellow, read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, is proportional to the amount of CCK1-R captured in each well.

Stated performance characteristics include an assay range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.124 ng/ml, with a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values across sample types were: serum average 91% (range 80%-102%, n=5); EDTA plasma average 90% (range 81%-100%, n=5); and heparin plasma average 84% (range 80%-89%, n=5). Linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions are also provided for serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and should not be used past the expiration date. Detection is performed on a standard colorimetric microplate reader.
