Canine BNP ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this Canine BNP ELISA Kit is a 4-hour sandwich ELISA for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine BNP in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. Detection is colorimetric, read at 450 nm, on a pre-coated microplate. The assay is specific for BNP, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants.

Performance specifications include a product range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL. Reported average recovery (n=10) is 95% for serum, 94% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma at the validated 1:2 dilution. Serum and plasma samples should be diluted at least 1:2 with Sample Dilution Buffer prior to testing, and validated sample dilutions include healthy canine serum (1:2) and myocardial injury canine serum (1:2). The recommended instrument is a colorimetric microplate reader.

The kit is shipped at +4°C; components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as directed in the Protocol Manual. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles and do not use past the expiration date.
