Canine Atrial Natriuretic Peptide ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of canine atrial natriuretic peptide in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for the target. Standards and samples are added to the wells, followed by a biotinylated anti-target antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then added and the enzymatic reaction is stopped with acidic stop solution; the resulting colour is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <6.0 pg/ml, with a product range of 15.6-1000 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Reported average recovery values from spiked samples are 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma and 84% for heparin plasma, with dilution linearity data provided across 1:2 to 1:16 dilutions for each of these sample types.
