Canine Angiotensin I ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) enables in vitro quantitative determination of canine Angiotensin I. The assay is validated for canine reactivity and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance is defined by a measuring range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a sensitivity of 9.28 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 2h 30m. The platform is a pre-coated 96-well microplate read on a colorimetric microplate reader at 450 nm. The competitive format uses a biotinylated anti-Angiotensin I antibody, HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate; the resulting yellow colour intensity is inversely proportional to Angiotensin I concentration.

Spike-and-recovery data report averages of 94% (range 88–101%, n=5) in serum, 97% (91–103%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 95% (92–98%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Components are supplied for storage at +4°C or -20°C and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
