Canine Angiopoietin 1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) supplied by Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Angiopoietin 1 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The kit employs an antibody specific for Angiopoietin 1 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with detection via a biotinylated anti-Angiopoietin 1 antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.93 ng/ml, an assay range of 2.34-150 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spiking recovery in canine serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma averaged 91%, 90% and 84% respectively (n=5), with linearity of dilution demonstrated from 1:2 through 1:16 across the three sample matrices.
