Canine ADORA1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Adenosine A1 Receptor in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay is specific for Adenosine A1 Receptor with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants, and is completed in 4 hours.

Standards and samples are added to a pre-coated microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, where the target binds to the immobilized capture antibody. Following incubation and washing, a biotinylated detection antibody binds the captured target to form a sandwich complex. After further incubation and washing, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate is added, followed by TMB substrate solution. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Quantification is performed by reading absorbance at 450 nm and comparing values against the standard curve.

Average recovery was 93% in serum (range 86%–102%, n=10), 92% in EDTA plasma (range 87%–102%, n=10), and 94% in heparin plasma (range 86%–101%, n=10). Dilution linearity was evaluated at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 across the same sample types. The kit is shipped at +4°C, with components stored at +4°C or −20°C as indicated in the protocol manual, and should not be used past the expiration date or subjected to freeze/thaw cycles.
