Canine Adiponectin ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of canine Adiponectin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a microtitre plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for Adiponectin, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-Adiponectin Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. Signal is developed with TMB substrate and quantified by reading the absorbance at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported performance specifications include a sensitivity of <0.68 ng/ml, an assay range of 1.56-100 ng/ml, and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Spike-recovery testing returned averages of 91% for serum (range 80%-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81%-99%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80%-89%). Dilution linearity was also evaluated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.
