c-Jun (phospho Thr91) Cell Based ELISA Kit

A cell-based ELISA kit from Antibodies.com designed for the indirect in vitro quantitative determination of c-Jun (phospho Thr91) in adherent and suspension cells. Reactivity is confirmed for Human (Thr91), Mouse (Thr91) and Rat (Thr91), and no cross-reactivity has been reported.

The assay is qualitative, employing a colorimetric detection method on a Tissue Culture Treated Microplate platform, and is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes. Capture of the phospho Thr91 modification on the c-Jun protein relies on anti-c-Jun (phospho Thr91) antibodies, which are in turn detected by HRP-conjugated secondary antibodies to produce a colorimetric signal upon substrate addition.

Three normalisation strategies are supported: an anti-GAPDH antibody serves as an internal positive control, Crystal Violet whole-cell staining is used to determine cell density, and an anti-c-Jun antibody is provided so that absorbance values for the phosphorylated target can be normalised to those of the non-phosphorylated target. The recommended product range is > 5000 Cells and the kit should be stored at +4°C, where it remains stable for 3-6 months.
