Bovine Visfatin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Visfatin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microtiter plate, a biotinylated detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate, and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Reported performance includes a product range of 1.563–100 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL. The capture and detection antibodies are specific for Visfatin, with no reported cross-reactivity with other analogs or variants. The full protocol is completed in approximately 4 hours.

Spike-and-recovery testing (n=10) gave average values of 92% in serum, 92% in EDTA plasma, and 94% in heparin plasma, with observed ranges of 85–100%, 85–104%, and 87–100% respectively. Dilution linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions fell within roughly 80–104% for the same sample types. The kit is shipped at +4°C, and components are stored at +4°C or –20°C as indicated in the protocol manual.
