Bovine Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor B ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine VEGFB in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with antibody specific for VEGFB. Standards and test samples are added to the wells and any VEGFB present is captured. After washing, a Biotinylated Anti-VEGFB Antibody is added, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is then used to visualise the reaction, producing a yellow-coloured product measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Sensitivity is given as <7.8 pg/ml and the product range as 31.2-2000 pg/ml, with a total assay time of 4h 30m.

Reported average recoveries are 91% in serum, 90% in EDTA plasma and 84% in heparin plasma, with linearity demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
