Bovine Ubiquitin ELISA Kit

The Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Ubiquitin in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. Reactivity is specific to bovine samples. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate platform with a biotinylated anti-Ubiquitin detection antibody and HRP-avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Sensitivity is reported as <0.059 ng/ml with a quantitative assay range of 0.156–10 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. The assay is suitable for serum and plasma samples, with mean recovery values of 92% in serum (range 82–102%, n=5), 95% in EDTA plasma (range 90–100%, n=5) and 94% in heparin plasma (range 88–100%, n=5).

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
