Bovine Transforming Growth Factor Beta Induced Protein ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, the Bovine Transforming Growth Factor Beta Induced Protein (TGFBI) ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine TGFBI in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay has a standard range of 1.56–100 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <0.39 ng/ml.

The kit employs the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique using a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and test samples are added to the wells where TGFBI is captured by the immobilized antibody. Following washing, a Biotinylated Anti-TGFBI Antibody is added and binds the captured target. HRP-Avidin conjugate is then introduced, and the enzymatic reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of the acidic stop solution. Absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, and the TGFBI concentration is calculated by reference to the standard curve. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilised standard, Detection Solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
