Bovine Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 4 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro determination of bovine Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase 4 (TIMP4) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for TIMP4. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where TIMP4 is captured by the immobilized antibody. After incubation and washing, a Biotinylated Anti-TIMP4 Antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The enzymatic reaction produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of acidic stop solution, with absorbance read at 450nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The assay has a range of 0.312-20 ng/ml and a sensitivity of 0.149 ng/ml, with a total run time of 4h 30m. Kit components include a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips), lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers.
