Bovine Tissue Inhibitors Of Metalloproteinase 3 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Tissue Inhibitor of Metalloproteinase 3 (TIMP3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with an antibody specific for TIMP3, followed by a biotinylated anti-TIMP3 antibody and HRP-avidin detection. The colourimetric reaction is read at 450 nm and quantified against a standard curve.

The working range is 0.312–20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.118 ng/ml, and the complete assay takes 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked samples, average recoveries of 91% (serum), 90% (EDTA plasma) and 84% (heparin plasma) were reported across individual ranges of 80–102%, 81–100% and 80–89% respectively. Linearity was demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma. The kit includes a lyophilised standard, biotinylated detection antibody, HRP detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
