Bovine Stem Cell Factor ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative measurement of bovine stem cell factor (SCF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids. The format uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-SCF antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

According to the manufacturer, the assay range is 78.1–5000 pg/ml with a stated sensitivity of 19.6 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Per-sample validation data (n=5) is reported for three matrices: serum averaging 91% (range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma averaging 90% (range 81%–99%), and heparin plasma averaging 84% (range 80%–89%). Dilution-linearity values at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 are also reported across the same three matrices. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C and the kit should not be used past its stated expiration date.
