Bovine Selectin, Endothelium ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine CD62E (Selectin, Endothelium) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips and follows the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique, employing a biotinylated anti-CD62E antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate with TMB substrate for colourmetric detection read at 450 nm. The standard curve covers a range of 0.625-40 ng/ml with a sensitivity of <0.21 ng/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported recovery values are: serum average 91% (range 80-102%, n=5); EDTA plasma average 90% (range 81-100%, n=5); and heparin plasma average 84% (range 80-89%, n=5). Dilution linearity is supported across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions for each of the three sample types. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
