Bovine S100 Calcium Binding Protein A9 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine S100A9 in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with Biotinylated Anti-S100A9 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, and a TMB substrate read at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The manufacturer reports a sensitivity of <0.102 ng/ml and an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml. Spiked-recovery data given by the manufacturer list average serum recovery (n=5) of 91% across an 83%–100% range, average EDTA plasma recovery (n=5) of 96% across 91%–102%, and average heparin plasma recovery (n=5) of 95% across 89%–102%. Linearity dilution series at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma.

Detection is colorimetric and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the product should not be used past its expiration date.
