From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine S100 Calcium Binding Protein A8, also referred to as MRP8, in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate and a biotinylated anti-MRP8 detection antibody used in combination with an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve covers a measuring range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml, with a stated sensitivity of <32 pg/ml and a total assay time of approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma fall within an overall band of roughly 72% to 110%, with parallel dilution linearity demonstrated across 1:2 to 1:16 sample dilutions in each of these matrices.
