Bovine Resistin ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Resistin in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate with an antibody specific for Resistin, followed by incubation with a biotinylated anti-Resistin antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate, and TMB substrate. The resulting colour change is read at 450 nm in a microplate reader, with Resistin concentration calculated by reference to a standard curve.

Reported sensitivity is less than 34 pg/ml, with a measurable range of 78.1–5000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. In validation testing, recovery averaged 91% in serum (range 80–102%), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–100%), and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%), with linearity demonstrated at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 across all three sample types.

The kit includes a pre-coated microplate in a 12 x 8 well strip format, lyophilized standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution, and adhesive plate sealers.
