Bovine Protein C Receptor, Endothelial ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine EPCR/CD201 (Protein C Receptor, Endothelial) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated anti-EPCR/CD201 detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colourmetric read-out proportional to target concentration that is measured at 450 nm. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported performance characteristics include a standard curve range of 15.6-1000 ng/ml and a sensitivity of <3.9 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery in serum (n=5) was 80-102% (average 91%), in EDTA plasma (n=5) 81-100% (average 90%) and in heparin plasma (n=5) 80-89% (average 84%). Dilution linearity across 1:2 to 1:16 was demonstrated in serum (74-107%), EDTA plasma (79-108%) and heparin plasma (82-105%). Kit components include pre-coated microplate strips, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, 30X wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers; components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed and the kit not used past its expiration date.
