Bovine Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase Receptor ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine uPA Receptor/U-PAR in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with an antibody specific for uPA Receptor/U-PAR immobilised on the plate. Captured analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-uPA Receptor/U-PAR antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, producing a colorimetric readout measured at 450 nm in a microplate reader.

The assay has a product range of 125-8000 pg/ml and a reported sensitivity of 32 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m. Spiking recovery is documented across sample matrices: serum (n=5, range 80%-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5, range 81%-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5, range 80%-89%, average 84%). Linearity upon serial dilution at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 is also provided for each of these three sample types.

Kit components include a pre-coated microplate (-20°C), lyophilised standard in 2 vials (-20°C), Detection Solution A 120 µl (-20°C), Detection Solution B 120 µl (-20°C), 30X Wash Buffer 20 ml (+4°C), Sample Dilution Buffer 45 ml (-20°C), TMB Substrate 9 ml (+4°C), Stop Solution 6 ml (+4°C) and plate sealers. Components should be stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
