Bovine Placenta Growth Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative determination of bovine Placenta Growth Factor (PLGF) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

The assay is read colourimetrically at 450 nm on a standard microplate reader, with a standard curve range of 31.2–2000 pg/ml and a reported sensitivity of <6.8 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4 h 30 min, and kit components are stored at +4 °C or -20 °C as instructed, to be used before the stated expiration date.

Validation data show mean recoveries of 91% (range 80–102%, n=5) in serum, 90% (range 81–100%, n=5) in EDTA plasma and 84% (range 80–89%, n=5) in heparin plasma. Dilution linearity from 1:2 to 1:16 returned recoveries of 87–107% for serum, 84–108% for EDTA plasma and 82–105% for heparin plasma across the same n=5 sample sets.
