From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Peroxisome Proliferator Activated Receptor Gamma (PPAR gamma) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate, a biotinylated anti-PPAR gamma detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate, with signal developed using TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader. Total run time is 4 hours 30 minutes, and the product is for research use only.

Reported performance includes a sensitivity of 0.115 ng/ml and a working range of 0.312-20 ng/ml. In spiked recovery testing, serum samples (n=5) gave 80%-102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma (n=5) gave 81%-100% (average 90%) and heparin plasma (n=5) gave 80%-89% (average 84%).
