Bovine Osteopontin ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Osteopontin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with bovine samples and uses a pre-coated microplate format.

Reported sensitivity is 0.069 ng/ml and the measurable range is 0.156–10 ng/ml. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (average 91%, range 80–102%), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–99%) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%). Dilution linearity has been confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across these sample types.

The workflow uses a biotinylated anti-Osteopontin detection antibody, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, and total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components are stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
