Bovine Osteocalcin ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com designed for the quantitative determination of bovine Osteocalcin in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated microplate with a biotinylated anti-Osteocalcin antibody and HRP-avidin detection, using TMB substrate read at 450 nm.

Working range is 0.312-20 ng/ml with a sensitivity of 0.117 ng/ml. Total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Manufacturer-reported spike-and-recovery values are: serum 82-102%, average 92% (n=5); EDTA plasma 90-100%, average 95% (n=5); heparin plasma 88-100%, average 94% (n=5). Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 falls within 75-110% across serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma (n=5 each).

Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated and the assay is intended for use with a colorimetric microplate reader.
