Bovine Ornithine Carbamoyl Transferase ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Ornithine Carbamoyltransferase/OTC in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The kit uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, a biotinylated anti-OTC detection antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.135 ng/ml, with an assay range of 0.312–20 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m. Validation recovery data are provided for serum (n=5, average 91%, range 80%–102%), EDTA plasma (n=5, average 90%, range 81%–99%) and heparin plasma (n=5, average 84%, range 80%–89%). Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed, and the kit must not be used past its expiration date.
