Bovine Neuropeptide Y ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this competitive Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (cELISA) enables the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Neuropeptide Y in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microtiter plate (12 x 8 well strips), a Biotinylated Anti-Neuropeptide Y Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and a TMB substrate solution, with absorbance measured at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 31.2–2000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <8.52 pg/ml, and the protocol takes approximately 2h 30m. Reported spike-recovery ranges are 80%–102% for serum (average 91%), 81%–99% for EDTA plasma (average 90%), and 80%–89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and adhesive plate sealers.
