Bovine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 ELISA Kit

The kit from Antibodies.com is a sandwich ELISA for the quantitative determination of bovine Monocyte Chemotactic Protein 2 (MCP2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay is performed on a pre-coated microplate using a biotinylated anti-MCP2 detection antibody and an HRP-avidin conjugate. Signal is generated with TMB substrate and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader, with MCP2 concentration determined by comparison to a standard curve.

The detection range spans 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.4 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as indicated, and the assay must not be used past its expiration date.

Reported spike-and-recovery values average 91% for serum (range 80-102%), 90% for EDTA plasma (range 81-100%), and 84% for heparin plasma (range 80-89%) across n=5 samples.
