Bovine Matrix Metalloproteinase 9 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates or other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged in 12 x 8 well strips, with detection carried out on a colorimetric microplate reader measuring absorbance at 450 nm after addition of TMB substrate and acidic stop solution.

Reported sensitivity is 11.3 pg/ml with an assay range of 31.2-2000 pg/ml. The procedure uses a biotinylated anti-MMP9 antibody together with an HRP-avidin conjugate, and total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Reported recovery values average 91% for serum, 90% for EDTA plasma, and 84% for heparin plasma (n=5), with linearity demonstrated across serial dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.
