Bovine Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Matrix Metalloproteinase 13 (MMP13). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids, and uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) with a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate. Detection is colorimetric, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The quantitative assay range is 78.1-5000 pg/ml, with a sensitivity of <33 pg/ml and a total assay time of 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery has been validated in serum (range 80-102%, average 91%, n=5), EDTA plasma (range 81-100%, average 90%, n=5) and heparin plasma (range 80-89%, average 84%, n=5). Dilutional linearity has been demonstrated for serum (74-107%), EDTA plasma (79-108%) and heparin plasma (82-105%) across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16.

Kit components include a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, with storage at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
