Bovine Interleukin 8 ELISA Kit

Antibodies.com supplies this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine interleukin-8 (IL-8) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips), a biotinylated anti-IL-8 detection antibody, an HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. Absorbance is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The standard curve spans 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.9 pg/ml, and the assay takes 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components include lyophilized standard, Detection Solutions A and B, 30× wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed. Mean recovery was 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (81–99%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (80–89%, n=5), with dilutional linearity confirmed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types.
