Bovine Interleukin 5 ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com enables quantitative in vitro measurement of bovine interleukin-5 (IL-5) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 × 8 well strips) onto which an anti-IL-5 antibody has been immobilised; standards and samples are added, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-5 Antibody and HRP-Avidin conjugate, with TMB substrate producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm.

The product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of <6.2 pg/ml, and the assay is completed in 4 hours 30 minutes.
