Bovine Interleukin 22 ELISA Kit

A sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay from Antibodies.com designed for the in vitro quantitative measurement of bovine Interleukin 22 (IL-22). The assay is suitable for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with reactivity reported as Bovine.

The kit uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IL-22. Standards and test samples are added to the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-22 Antibody, an HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate. The reaction is stopped with an acidic stop solution and the colour change is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader. Reported sensitivity is <5.4 pg/ml, with a product measuring range of 15.6–1000 pg/ml. Total assay time is 4h 30m.

Reported recovery ranges are 80%–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81%–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma and 80%–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 shows serum recoveries of 87%–107%, EDTA plasma 79%–108% and heparin plasma 82%–105%. Kit components include a pre-coated 12 x 8 well strip microplate, lyophilised standard (2 vials), Detection Solution A, Detection Solution B, 30X Wash Buffer, Sample Dilution Buffer, TMB Substrate, Stop Solution and plate sealers. Components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
