Bovine Interleukin 10 ELISA Kit

This Antibodies.com Bovine Interleukin 10 ELISA Kit is a sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine IL-10 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids. The assay uses an antibody specific for IL-10 pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are incubated in the wells, followed by a Biotinylated Anti-IL-10 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution; absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the yellow intensity proportional to the IL-10 concentration.

The stated product range is 15.6–1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 5.7 pg/ml, and the total assay time is 4h 30m. Reported spike-and-recovery values (n=5 per matrix) are 80–102% (average 91%) for serum, 81–100% (average 90%) for EDTA plasma, and 80–89% (average 84%) for heparin plasma. Dilution linearity data across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions (n=5) are reported as follows: serum 87–91%, 87–107%, 74–101% and 92–97%; EDTA plasma 90–105%, 84–101%, 90–101% and 79–108%; heparin plasma 84–95%, 92–105%, 82–105% and 89–91%.
