Bovine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this assay kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Insulin Like Growth Factor Binding Protein 1 (IGFBP1) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids using a sandwich ELISA format. An antibody specific for IGFBP1 is pre-coated onto a 96-well microplate, and bound analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-IGFBP1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate. A TMB substrate produces a blue product that turns yellow upon addition of stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <0.31 ng/ml with an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/ml. Recovery values are reported as: serum (n=5) 80-102% with average 91%, EDTA plasma (n=5) 81-100% with average 90%, and heparin plasma (n=5) 80-89% with average 84%. Dilution linearity is provided across 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 sample dilutions. Total assay time is 4h 30m, and kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed; the kit should not be used past its expiration date.
