Bovine Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 ELISA Kit

This sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (sELISA) from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Insulin Like Growth Factor 1 (IGF1) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The kit uses a 96-well microtiter plate pre-coated with an antibody specific for IGF1, with detection via a Biotinylated Anti-IGF1 Antibody and an HRP-Avidin conjugate, visualised using TMB substrate solution and read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

The reported detection range is 3.12–200 ng/ml, with a sensitivity of <1.23 ng/ml and a total assay time of 4h 30m on a pre-coated microplate platform (12 x 8 well strips). Recovery data are provided for serum (n=5): range 80%–102%, average 91%; EDTA plasma (n=5): range 81%–100%, average 90%; heparin plasma (n=5): range 80%–89%, average 84%. Dilution linearity ranges at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16 are also reported for serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples. The antibody is raised in rabbit (IgG), and the product is supplied as a liquid in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH 7.3. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
