Bovine Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 1A ELISA Kit

This sandwich ELISA kit from Antibodies.com is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Heat Shock 70kDa Protein 1A (HSP70) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay employs a 96-well microplate pre-coated with antibody specific for HSP70; HSP70 in standard or sample is bound, detected with a biotinylated anti-HSP70 antibody, and visualised with HRP-Avidin conjugate and TMB substrate solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

The detection range is 1.56–100 ng/ml and the reported sensitivity is <0.61 ng/ml. The total assay time is 4 hours 30 minutes. Spike-and-recovery testing in serum (n=5) gave an average of 91% (range 80–102%), EDTA plasma averaged 90% (81–100%), and heparin plasma averaged 84% (80–89%). Linearity of dilution was demonstrated at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions across the same sample types.
