Bovine Glutathione Peroxidase 1 ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com Assays and Kits, this Sandwich ELISA is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Glutathione Peroxidase 1 in serum, plasma, or other biological fluids. The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate (12 x 8 well strips) and a colorimetric detection method read at 450 nm. Standards and samples are added to the wells, where the analyte binds to an immobilised antibody; a biotinylated anti-Glutathione peroxidase 1 antibody is then added, followed by an HRP conjugate and TMB substrate. The resulting colour intensity is proportional to the analyte concentration. Sensitivity is 0.34 ng/ml and the measuring range is 0.781–50 ng/ml. Total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Kit components should be stored at +4°C or −20°C as instructed. Validated recovery ranges: serum 80%–102% (average 91%), EDTA plasma 81%–100% (average 90%), and heparin plasma 80%–89% (average 84%).
