Bovine Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 ELISA Kit

Manufactured for Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Fibroblast Growth Factor 9 (FGF9/GAF) in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. The assay uses a 96-well microplate pre-coated with an antibody specific for FGF9/GAF. Standards and samples are added to the wells, and bound analyte is detected using a biotinylated anti-FGF9/GAF antibody followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. Enzymatic activity is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a colour change that is read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <27.5 pg/ml with a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/ml, and the complete assay takes approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. Recovery in spiked samples has been characterised for serum (average 91%, range 80–102%, n=5), EDTA plasma (average 90%, range 81–100%, n=5) and heparin plasma (average 84%, range 80–89%, n=5), with dilution linearity assessed at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 across the same sample types. The kit is supplied with a pre-coated 96-well microplate, lyophilised standard, detection reagents, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and plate sealers, to be stored at +4°C or –20°C as instructed.
