Bovine Fibroblast Growth Factor 2, Basic ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this sandwich Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay is designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Fibroblast Growth Factor 2 (FGF2) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, cell culture supernates or other biological fluids.

The assay uses a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips. Standards and samples are added to wells where FGF2 is captured by an immobilised antibody. After washing, a biotinylated anti-FGF2 antibody binds the captured analyte, followed by an HRP-avidin conjugate. TMB substrate is added and the reaction produces a blue colour that changes to yellow after the stop solution, with absorbance read at 450 nm. The product range is 15.6-1000 pg/ml with a sensitivity of 6.5 pg/ml, and total assay time is 4h 30m. Kit components are stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.

Suitable for bovine FGF2 quantification in serum, plasma, cell lysates, tissue homogenates and cell culture supernates, the assay is read on a colorimetric microplate reader.
