Bovine Fetuin B ELISA Kit

Designed for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Fetuin B in serum, plasma or other biological fluids, this sandwich ELISA from Antibodies.com employs the enzyme immunoassay technique. A microplate is pre-coated with an antibody specific for Fetuin B; standards and test samples are added and the captured analyte is detected using a Biotinylated Anti-Fetuin B Antibody followed by an HRP-Avidin conjugate. The reaction is visualised with TMB substrate, producing a yellow product whose absorbance is read at 450 nm in a colorimetric microplate reader, with the Fetuin B concentration calculated against a standard curve.

The quantitative assay has a working range of 31.2-2000 ng/ml, a sensitivity of <11.7 ng/ml and a total run time of 4 h 30 min. Reported sample validation includes recoveries for serum (80-102%, average 91%), EDTA plasma (81-100%, average 90%) and heparin plasma (80-89%, average 84%), with dilution linearity (1:2 to 1:16) ranging from 74% to 108% across the matrices tested.
