Bovine Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor ELISA Kit

From Antibodies.com, this sandwich ELISA kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of bovine Eotaxin (also known as Eosinophil Chemotactic Factor) in serum, plasma or other biological fluids. The assay uses the sandwich enzyme immunoassay technique on a pre-coated 96-well microplate arranged as 12 x 8 well strips, with a biotinylated anti-Eotaxin detection antibody, HRP-avidin conjugate and TMB substrate, read at 450 nm on a colorimetric microplate reader.

Reported sensitivity is <28.6 pg/ml, the working range is 62.5–4000 pg/ml, and the total assay time is approximately 4 hours 30 minutes. In spiked-sample validation, average recoveries were 91% in serum (range 80–102%, n=5), 90% in EDTA plasma (range 81–99%, n=5) and 84% in heparin plasma (range 80–89%, n=5). Supplied components include a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, detection solutions A and B, wash buffer, sample dilution buffer, TMB substrate, stop solution and adhesive plate sealers, stored at +4°C or -20°C as instructed.
